anyone interested in her music?
it would be really difficult to try to define the style of music she's producing. It's a mix of pop, electro-pop, indie, rock and other similar styles. she has released 2 albums and the third one is coming out on August 24 I think - and it's called Ellipse.

one of my favorite songs: the walk

I'm so glad I'm not the only person in here who's into her music :)
I'm definitely buying the new CD when it's out.

ad Hide and seek - I think it's an extra-ordinary song, very unique! It took me a while to fall in love with it though.

I really love her production style. Everything is intricate and has a place in the song. Plus, I always manage to find new things each time I listen.

You can listen to her new single here: http://stereogum.com/archives/album-art/new-imogen-heap---first-train-home_078841.html

Looking forward to her new album.

For those of you who like Imogen Heap, I encourage you to check out Frou Frou. It was one for her collaboration projects with Guy Sigsworth. The vocals are all Imogen and the music is very similar to her "normal" stuff but with a slight twist. If you love Imogen Heap, I'm positive you'll like Frou Frou.

Here is a taste...

I'm glad there are fellow perfume lovers who like Imogen Heap : )
Frou Frou was a collab work and it's really awesome. I kind of wish she released at least one other with him! I can never get Must Be Dreaming out of my head. But her new album is really great, I could listen to that CD from start to finish no problem. I really like Swoon and Tidal. Imogen has such a way with words @[email protected] now if her and Yasutaka Nakata ever met . . . that'd be magical :D

So cool to finally see I'm not the only Imogen Heap fan I know!! :D she really is one of those special artists who has an extraordinary gift and expresses herself in a unique way. Any fan of hers should check out her documentary 'Everything in Between: The Story of Ellipse' It shows the whole process of making the album and how much heart, soul, and work went into this album. And I totally agree, that would be so epic if she and Nakata met!!!

Love Imogen Heap, even when she was in Frou Frou. I gave a listen to Ellipse one playthrough and didn't like that much, but I'm going to give it another playthrough and see if I change my mind.

My favorite songs are: Aeroplanes, Hide and Seek, The Walk, Breathe in, Headlock

I love her! Speak for Yourself is a fantastic album and I played it to *death* a few months ago when I was just discovering her awesomeness. Headlock, Loose Ends (my fave!)... so many great songs. Ellipse had to grow on me a little, it's still really good stuff though. Loving the new single too! :D

Has anybody been following Imogen Heap's new work? I really like this song (although the video is nothing special):

her newest song You Know Where To Find Me has become a top favorite of mine. I can't get enough of those piano keys. She's going to release a new album this year (hopefully by the fall) I know she just finished recording a vblog about the deluxe pre-orders. I can't wait to see what kind of packaging/plans she has for it.

Sparks is out! Or at least sorta. The people who bought the boxset version got theirs already but the real release is Tuesday! It's definitely a massive accomplishment and the reviews are pouring in calling it a great blend of new tech and narrative.

I definitely love Entanglement ALOT I think that's become my new favorite Imogen Heap love song.
